Strategies for Multi-Property Acquisitions

I’m trying to better understand how investors approach financing when acquiring multiple properties in a single deal.

For those who’ve done this:

  • Do you typically finance portfolios as one package or split them into multiple loans?
  • What types of lenders have been the most flexible for these kinds of acquisitions?
  • How does financing impact your ability to scale compared to buying individually?
  • Are there any common pitfalls or surprises when structuring these deals?
  • How do you balance leverage vs. risk when taking on several properties at once?

Would be great to hear what’s worked (and what hasn’t)
