HUD house inspections needed

Hi,

I have my first HUD property under contract. The house looks great after walking inside and all around. HUD property report indicated all was good with the water, electrical, hvac systems.

Question: Do you HUD purchasers typically get professional inspections done or do you do them yourself during due diligence? Turning on all the services costs $$ and hate to waste that money.
