Can anyone recommend good turnkey companies?

Hi all,

I'm new to BP and wanted to get recommendations on good turnkey companies.  If you've used one and would buy again from them, please let me know.  Looking for buy & holds possibly in Indiana, Ohio, Memphis, Kansas City and would consider others cities.  Thanks in advance for any advice.

Julie, I highly recommend you contact Alex Craig at Memphis Turnkey Properties. I bought my first property through them last October and I'm 100 percent satisfied. I am currently working with Alex now nailing down my second property. For me when I decided i was going to invest out of state, it was more about finding a firm I was comfortable with rather than the location. They are the location experts and Im glad I found them. They are a one stop shop for lack of a better term. They own the rehab company and the management firm which to me is very important when buying turnkey. Hi Julie,

I'm a semi-turnkey investor for couple of markets (DFW and Memphis).  Full disclosure - my wife is currently buying a property with Alex Craig at Memphis Turnkey and I'm working with Douglas's team at Crestcore (also in Memphis) to see what they can help me with on alternative investment method (BRRR).  Douglas listed out a good # of Memphis providers above.

Are you ready to buy in those markets or are you still researching the markets?  There are a LOT of turnkey providers here for the markets you listed so you will get a lot of posts from them.  They are all very helpful but you need to know what type of investor you are before you can nail down who you want to go with.  End of the day, it's your $ and I believe you want to be happy with your provider.

Some questions that you should think about before you reach out to them -

What type of investors are you?  Why do you want to get into turnkey purchase?  Why do you want to invest in those markets and what is your selection criteria?  What is your expectation of the provider and the result?  Remember there are risks associated with any investment and turnkey real estate is no different.

I don't claim to be an expert so by all means do your research.  There are many turnkey related threads on BP so search them out and spend some time reading them.  It can be a heated discussion from time to time (or maybe I have weak stomach) but read them with an open mind.

Welcome to BP Julie!  I agree that the best way to find them on BiggerPockets is to setup a keyword alert.  Most wholesalers like Mark or others would make sure to post with that word included.  Take care!

If you are looking for turnkey companies, you have come to the right place! BP has plenty of professionals from all walks of the RE world.

Keep an eye out for anyone talking about turnkeys in the forums. Some companies post in the market place as well.

Maybe try doing a quick search in the search bar at the top. Of course, make sure to do some research on the company outside of BP. You want to make sure you are reaching out to a good company.
