How to find houses with loan defaults.

Question

I am looking for potential sellers who are in default on their loan but are not in foreclosure yet. Has anyone had success getting this information from lenders? From any other source?

@Samuel Pawlitzki  you should check out the Property radar app. the time savings alone unless you value your personal time at next to zero is worth the price of it.. plus there is so much more than just the NOD's etc.. its google maps NODS and much more all in one app.

I have been at this 40 some years and I am not easily impressed.. but this is over the top for anyone who would even consider chasing these things.. I have all my staff have it on their phone.. of course I don't personally do it.. because I don't know how.. but my staff sure does.

first month I had it they snagged a deal right here in Lake Oswego right from under all the big players and we will make well over 200k on that one deal.. all thanks to a 49 dollar a month app..

I have access to anything a title company has as well all for free.. but who has the time PR aggregatited all.. and all you folks that actually know how to use this stuff.. man its cool.

As a Realtor, I've hooked up with someone who handles title insurance. He gave me backend access to search public property info online, and it lets me look specifically for defaults, foreclosures, etc...

It might be worth contacting a local title person?

But otherwise @Jerry Padilla is correct. A lot of this info can be found on free sites since it's technically a matter of public record. Definitely don't sign up for any paid sites. All this info is free, you just have to know where to look

Hello - Any one in Whittier, CA looking for a project? We get NOD reports from our tile/escrow peeps. These folks took out a loan of $171,000 in Nov. 2016 and aren't making payments. House is likely worth $225,000 so should be some equity and profit to work with here. The Property is located in my neighborhood - out of state owners.

Many county websites will post the NODs. For delinquent payments, you would need to buy a list. These lists would be prior to the Notice of Default being filed. They are likely sources from credit reporting agencies.
