How to handle listing agent problem

I have a flip that is ready to go on the market with the exception of a few small odds and ends. I saw my agent Wednesday night and asked if he would be interested in meeting with me on Thursday to give me a listing appraisal and a probable listing of the house. We met yesterday and went over things and signed the listing agreement and I told him that there were a few things I needed to get done that might adversely effect the image of the listing if shown before they were fixed. We agreed that I would get these things done over the weekend a d that he would either hold the listing out of the system or say no showings before Monday. I agreed to that and he put his lockbox on the door and his sign in the yard. This morning I get a text from him saying that the office girl has already put it on the MLS and and that it's a requirement that when it goes on the MLS that it must be available to be shown then. I have worked with this agent before and he isn't the most knowledgable but I go to church with him so I don't want hard feelings but I feel he went against my wishes. Thoughts?
