Purchasing Mobile Homes

Hey BP family!

I'm looking to expand my business from mainly wholesaling properties to rentals.  What do you guys think about purchasing a mobile home? I have a understanding on some fees such as space rent, mobile home insurance, and permit/ registration fees. Do you think it make sense financially?  I'm interested because mobile homes seem affordable and easy to maintain.  My goal is to increase my monthly income so I can continue to expand my business in other areas.

@Jabriel Porter I agree with @Bill Neves  I have some in parks and some on land.  I much rather have them on land.  Deal on Wheels is a great book to read if you haven't already, but remember it was written pre Dodd Frank so as Bill mentioned be sure to protect yourself.  I switched the direction of my business last year to mainly focusing on mobile homes in Central Florida and it's been great!  Hope all works out!
