RE Market Data Sources

Hey BP team - I'm wondering where most you get your market data when you are looking at market trends, prices, growth, etc.

Do you pay for it? Do you get reliable data for free?

I'm planning to invest out-of-state and am hoping to narrow down some of the areas I'm considering using good old fashioned analytics.

You should be able to find the main things online with a little digging.

--Population growth from census

--Job/wage growth is usually easily found in the news

--Local builders association often publishes homebuilding stats

--Number of recent celebrity sightings in local news
