My suggestion is to seek out a local lender that specializes in VA loans. Most investors don’t quite understand the VA loan because they don’t get to use it.

National lenders suck at working through complicated projects so financing falls through.

Google VA lender and your town. Should get a few popping up in the first few pages that are local loan officers.
