Using Western Union for a wire transfer

Has anyone used Western Union for a wire transfer for a closing? I normally would not use them but my HELOC is at a bank that does not have a branch in my state and I would have to go to a branch in person to initiate the wire due to the amount. So because of this and a timing issue it looks like I will have to use Western Union to get the money to my title company. Since I have never used WU I am a little paranoid about fraud, the timing, etc. Please give your feedback. Thanks.
