Visiting Portland, Maine

Me and my wife are visiting Portland, Maine for the first time January 27 - 31. We will be checking out the sites and want to head out to Standish and Bangor and surrounding areas. I am wondering if anyone recommends an agent that has time in those days to sit with us and show us some properties. I am looking at a few different options and just want to see what we can get for our money for when we move out there. Any and all recommendations are welcomed thank you.

Portland is a fantastic little city that consistently ranks high in quality of life and quality of food. But you probably already knew that if you're moving here! There's a great, high octane realtor in Topsham named Tim Dunham. Topsham is halfway between Portland and Augusta and Tim works throughout the Midcoast area.

Hope your property search and move go well!

I’d be happy to show you anything in Bangor area.

I am located in the Lewiston/Auburn area, if you want to check out the twin cities. I grew up here and know the good areas and the not so good areas. I have also driven by almost every multi that hits the market.

I am not an agent, I use Clayton at Fontaine.

I currently have 4 buildings and closing on 2 more in December. We can have a meal and talk about the area.

I am an agent in Southern Maine and my team is based in Falmouth and covers Southern and Central Maine, as well as the Bangor area. We could take you through Greater Portland, out to Standish, and up to Bangor and do it within one team so you had continuity in your representation. Would love to connect with you if that is of interest.

Is this a business trip or primarily pleasure? I ask only because 4 days isn't all that long to see the sights AND do REI recon.

The Portland area is fabulous. There is great food, excellent beer, culture, and plenty of scenery nearby. You could easily spend 4 days in Portland, even in the winter.

Bangor is 2 hours north (assuming the roads are good!). I like Bangor, but if I'm driving that far, I'd rather check out MDI/Bar Harbor/Acadia. Again, you could spend 4 days up there, even though it's pretty sleepy this time of year.
