Rejected on my first two offers this week

Well...I put out two offers this week and was firmly rejected on both. The second offer came back with a counter which was still around $20k higher than my best price. Happy about my numbers though and glad I stuck to my guns on both offers. Any tips besides walking away to help negotiate in a situation like this?
