Columbus vs. Cleveland & Cincinnati Market

Chris G.
Posted

I see that Cleveland and Cincinnati are hot markets in Ohio where all turnkey companies invest.

What about Columbus? Anyone who has experience with Columbus market and whether it's a good market for investment or not...and why?

Thank you

@Chris G. As a city Columbus is more than twice the population of Cincy and Cleveland, so it's really not appropriate to consider them equals...things do balance out a bit when you move to the metro statistical areas. Everyone is partial to where they live, and investing is all relative. If you want to sacrifice lower returns for long-term stability and growth Columbus is the best candidate...it's by far the most stabilized with the longest proven track record. Cleveland and Cincy have very positive qualities on different levels...it really just matters which city aligns the best with your interest, skills, abilities, needs, and capacity. Just do you homework and make a personal decision...and take what everyone here says with a grain of salt ;)
