Best Local/Regional Bank in Florida?

Question

Hey everyone,

Are there any banks in the FL area that you know of that are not as strict as the big guys (wells, bank of amer, etc)?

Wells Fargo is giving me the hardest time ever and I'm just trying to pull an equity line out of my house that has no mortgage!

I've gotten 4 HELOCs from TD Bank for Florida properties, they're wonderful.

Tony, try Old Florida National Bank--they are in Orlando and Winter Park. I just got a cash out refi from them.

I wish I could suggest a bank that is more local to you, but I can't help you there. I did a quick search on a mortgage forum I belong to for HELOCS and both TD and US bank showed up as players. Hope that helps.

TD Bank and US Bank are supposed to be decent when it comes to HELOCS.
