Is it better to buy a home in a subdivision or no? Looking at a very good deal, but it is a ranch type area with great schools. Experts views will be appreciated!

What exactly are you looking to do with this property? Subdivision homes can be great for flipping or BRRRR'ing because if the subdivision has a lot of similar model homes it makes it much easier to get an accurate ARV. As for rentals, being in a great area that is close to amenities, safe, and in a good school district is always in demand, so long as the numbers work out, regardless of being in subdivision or not.
