Who does everyone love for a probate attorney recommendation? My team needs to interview 2-3 professionals for our efforts in NV. Thank you.

Why do you need an attorney?

I talk with families all the time about probate, and they're shocked to hear that there are companies out there that will do all the documentation for them, that aren't attorneys and don't charge high retainers. Here in AZ there is Legal Smart, and I'm sure in your market, if there is enough demand which with the coming silver tsunami I think that's most major markets, there should be similar. If you know how to fill out documentation and are not contesting the will, I think you'll find their prices much more competitive.

With all due respect I would say to be very careful with this advice. The problem with the paralegal offices or document production companies is they typically don't know all the questions to ask and the client certainly doesn't know in most cases. So, other than a very straight forward probate I would be very hesitant to use such a service at least here in California. I can not speak to other states.

Having been a probate attorney for 25 years I have cleaned up several messes performed by paralegals, Legalzoom, and inexperienced attorneys.  I have seen them file the wrong type of probate, numerous times, that costs the people MORE money than it should have.  Plus, have things done just flat out wrong.  It's great to save a few bucks until things blow up because it wasn't done right.
