San Diego Real Estate

John Devereaux
Posted

My wife and I are looking to invest in a single family home in San Diego, California more specifically San Carlos/Allied Gardens area. We are first time home buyers.

Our plan is to buy a single family home for max $700k utilizing the VA loan and put approximately $40k into it then sell (or rent) in three years. We are looking for any insight that could help our home buying process and also for any opinions or advice on the outlook for the market.

Thank you!

@John Devereaux Happy to chat if you would like to talk specifics about the area and various strategies that could work. I'm stationed at Camp Pendleton, and there are a ton of military real estate investors in the area!

I recommend talking to @Donald E Appleberry as a real estate agent. He is the best I know in the area, and specializes in VA loans and military real estate investors.

I also recommend @Jon Lallande as a VA lender. I have seen him close VA loans in as little as 21 days, and his service is unrivaled by anyone else.

Let me know how else I can help!
