Hello everyone, I have just been pre-qualified for my first home. I am a baby investor looking how to start out and use this to my advantage to begin my real estate investment portfolio. If you were in my situation what would you recommend? 300k pre-qual.

I would definitely recommend looking for a multifamily to house hack. If you buy a SFR then you can only use appreciation on it (unless you rent out other rooms) but with a multi-family property, you get appreciation as well as having your mortgage paid for. My two cents.
