Average length until a pre foreclosure goes into foreclosure?

Does anyone know the average length of time it takes for a pre foreclosure house to go into foreclosure? I'm in deltona fl if that can help answer my question. I've heard it takes 4 months for a house to go from pre foreclosure to foreclosure, but i've seen houses online that have been in pre foreclosure since Oct of last year.  Any feedback is appreciated.
