Pre-Auction Properties List

What advice would you give to someone who encountered a list of properties about to go to auction? Would you try and find a number to call them first, or would you go straight to door knocking?

@Mark Solomon - Glad to help.  (I'm an extrovert who works from home so this is my outlet!)

I probably would start with the ones that are a month out because the process takes a while with most lending institutions.  We've found that out because when pre-foreclosures call us they are normally too late to do anything. :(
