Showing REO's That Have A Lock Box

I am looking to purchase some REO properties to wholesale and I was wondering how do you show REO properties that have a lock box. Do you call the agent each time for the code or is there some other way? I tried just calling for the code but the agent says an agent has to be with me to show the property (which I find hard to believe). Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.

You need an agent with you, or better yet, you can get licensed yourself...
