Hotel conversions to multi family

There is an affordable housing crisis in the country. There are hotels for sale all over the country sometimes for as little as $10,000 per door. The conversion to multifamily is relatively easy. Are there any lenders out there that have experience with this and the appetite to fund the purchase and conversion?

What makes you think converting a hotel to multi family will be easy ?  Most hotels dont have kitchens in the rooms , water heaters , rooms are small , electric isnt metered per unit . I see a major project
