Looking for investors to connect with
Hi BiggerPockets community,
I’m a multifamily investor currently active in Northeast Ohio, with a portfolio of 10+ properties, primarily in the Cleveland market. I’ve been focused on small to mid size multifamily and value add projects, and I’m now looking to expand into Columbus.
I’m specifically looking to connect with investors who are actively involved in 20+ unit multifamily properties in the Columbus market.
The goal is not to pitch deals, but to build relationships with people who are already operating there so we can exchange local knowledge, property management companies, lenders, brokers, contractors, and other key resources. I’m also interested in learning more about any local networking groups, masterminds, coaching programs, or investor communities that are strong in Columbus.
Since my background is Cleveland, I’m approaching Columbus with a serious, long term mindset and want to make sure I’m aligned with the right teams and market intelligence before scaling there.

Welcome Thomas, your mindset and approach are exactly how most people who’ve scaled successfully into Midwest have done it. It’s a deep and resilient market, but very execution, and relationship-driven, especially in the 20+ unit space where local intel, property management strength, and lender relationships can materially affect outcomes. There’s a solid ecosystem of operators, brokers, and service providers here, and exchanging notes early tends to save a lot of time and friction.
