Multi-Family Unit Demolition Costs (Chicago)

Hello,

I have a multi-family unit on a 24X72 lot that needs demolishing. I'm trying to factor in demolition costs into my budget.

Can anyone share what the cost of demolition would be? A ballpark estimate or range would be great.

I would not be opposed to a referral either.

Cheers.

Hi there @Anthony H. - That's a hard number to pinpoint without seeing the project.  Does it have a foundation that needs to be removed as well?  What area of Chicago is the property in?

My guess would be in the $20-$40k range depending on how many truckloads need to be removed.

That seems like a really odd lot....super short and skinny.  What's your game plan with it after demo?
