Missing tenant, pulled out with EMS last week

Hey guys! I have a 4 unit currently. 2 vacant units I'm rehabbing and the other 2 I inherited tenants on.

Went there yesterday to work and a neighbor told me one of my tenants was pulled out on a stretcher with EMS and her cars been gone for 6 days now.

Nobody knows anything else and hasn't heard from her yet.

What exactly does one do in this situation??

@Joe Splitrock thanks Joe and I definitely should have. These guys were not on a lease and month to month at the time I inherited them. I will learn for the future since I should have. It's my first property so i should have gone back asking for that emergency contact info

You can still ask for emergency contacts for your other tenants. Do that today before you forget. It can also be useful if the tenant goes dark and stops paying rent. I called one tenants mom years ago and the tenant called me back a minute later, saying "why did you call my mom". I had told her mom I was afraid she wasn't ok because she hadn't paid rent and wouldn't return my message. It can go the other way too. I once called a tenants relative, only to be told, they owe me money too, haha.
