The great migration powered by remote working is fueling the growth of Wenatchee and the surrounding areas. The average home sale price is up 30% over the last 18 months with little sings of slowing. The city is ranked one of the safes in Washington state and is incredible family friendly with happening events, river front parks, and 300 days of sunshine. Building is going up every ware. Chelan county hydro program provides the area with has some of the lowest electricity cost in the nation and pumps a ton of money into community improvements. Wenatchee is also located in the heart of recreation, world class rafting, hiking, boating, climbing and 2 ski areas makes this area highly desirable to the PNW natives.
