@Louis Alec Deutschmann you have some good comments above but it depends on what type of investing you are thinking about. If you are thinking about Short Term Rentals (STRs) then Fort Worth is terrible since they have outlawed STR's. But if you are thinking of investing as a flipper, then it's fine...but Dallas and surrounding suburbs would be slightly better. Long term rentals are amazing in our market. We (DFW) are always ranked in "The Top Cities to Invest In" consistently. In the past 30 years the population of Texas has doubled. 90% of that growth has occurred within 50 miles of I-35. We target 3BR 2BA homes here under $300k. The less expensive the better. That's the winning formula.
