Im here in Cleveland renovating one of my properties but having a hard time finding reliable contractors to work with

I was in town last week, I brought on 3 more crews, so about 15 guys. I have them working on 3 properties, When done at the end of this week, they each get 3 more. Its all about your network. I now have about 30 guys.

We search for smaller crews on FB market place, walk job sites and ask for a phone number, and leverage our contacts/agent. It's hard work because most guys don't advertise. There too busy working! After establishing good communication I ask knowledgeable questions about the project. You're building a relationship from the ground up. Once you complete a few jobs you'll get repeat work.

I think making sure you select the right team leader is how you get it right the first time. If your Realtor is PM is hungry, knowledgeable and has the team set in place that you match well with, then your answer is right there. Blindly asking around for contractors is just a great way to end up with unsupervised work that you have no clue if it was done the right way.

Leverage locals to find them. I come across new contractors quite frequently just by working in the field but since you can't do that yourself, make use of the people who can.

I have a list of contractors that I can send you. It is always worth calling someone that they have done a job for before or even asking to see the property they are currently working on.
