Hey BiggerPockees community. I’m brand new here, but I’ve been listening to the podcast for a few months!! I have one real estate investment property under my belt, which I recently sold.

Purchased it in 2019 and did a full rehab on the first floor. Managed it myself for two years and had a property manager for the last year I owned it. I sold it once the market went crazy with hopes of using the profit to get into something better.

One general question I had as I begin to research markets to invest is what caused Atlanta to grow so much the past few years.  I’ve heard a bunch of theories on this, but figured I would ask here. Glad to be a part of the community!!

Jobs, affordability, low cost of living, tech/distribution/Location to big city & airports...... the hedge funds have bought up most of Atlanta though....... hard to find deals that make sense unless you expand to outskirts.
