Can You Transfer Mortgage To Someone Else?

Hello Bigger pocket!

Is it possible to to transfer mortgage to someone else? I bought a house using FHA. Since I want to move to another state, I have a friend who want that property. if I agree to transfer my mortgage to him without changing anything (monthly payment and interest rate).

@Patrick Buntubwimana Yes, they can assume your mtg. This involves them applying and qualifying for the loan just the same as if they were applying to buy a house with an fha loan.
