What is your biggest pet peeve on BP?

To start - this is not a pet peeve about BP itself - I wanted to do a post about what are some of the things that may irritate people the most on BiggerPockets. I know many will say the consistent questions on how to create the most complex entity structure on the planet before ever buying an asset or thinking taxes and asset protection are the same (those do too my list). Or asking a question that a simple google search or no search could answer.

But lately, For me, what my biggest pet peeve is when somebody creates a post, asks a question, and gets thirty people to provide them feedback and they never respond to any of the questions / comments posed back to them. They will then complain that they never get anywhere, but they can't take the time to respond.

With that being said - What is your biggest pet peeve ?

The search, both modes, is awful. Even worse is you can no longer, apparently, search for posts of your own on your "my discussions" page, or for any particular member's post on a specific topic from any page.

I think at this point the Tech subforum should be either standalone or under General RE Inv, and there should be a couple sub forums where the tech nerds can copy and paste some helpful (and instructive) "prompts" for the less tech inclined to try without being spammed. And maybe a sub forum for said tech nerds to offer "free samples for testing" with or without spam...

The entire database ought to be processed into a useful "knowledge base" format, probably for subscribers only. However, there should also be "stickys" or FAQ's summarizing Best Practices for key forums or common/hot topics on most/all forums.

There does not seem to be any rules...or instructions regarding certain features. What, exactly, is the point/advantage to "colleague requests"? And of course the "@chris" feature for mentioning people is very useful...to those who know.

I'll stop now...sorry. Be more careful what you ask for. :)
