How BP has helped move me forward

BP isn't simply a site to peruse, it is a site to use and be involved in.  Here is how I have used BP to help me in the last month or so that I have been using it.

• Education!  I've learned about the 1% rule, the 2% rule, the 50% rule, what others consider a deal, etc, etc.  Even though I've already done some deals, there is always the question in the back of my head, "Am I doing it right?"  BP has helped answer that question.  Yes, sometimes.  No, sometimes.  All this is going to impact the deals I pursue.
• Networking!  Call people, folks!  I have connected with several "colleagues" here and asked if I could call them.  I've picked their brain and told them what I am doing.  Not only do I wonder if I am doing it right, I am constantly asking "Can I do better than this?"  In some cases in my niche (nicer homes in better in nicer neighborhoods) I am doing getting better returns than others, and in some case I am getting worse returns.  You better believe I am going to take another look at what I am doing.
• Advice!  I've asked a few questions and gotten helpful feedback on what to do with a property.  I've also given advice.  Even though I feel like a newbie (and probably always will), others are even newer than I am and have sought my input.  Its kinda nice!
• Research!  I've used the search bar a lot to discover forums and blogs on topics I have questions on, like permits.
• Motivation!  The podcasts are extremely motivating.  And hearing what other investors are doing is motivating too.  It is so nice to have you--yes, you--posting what is going on in your investing world (the good and bad), engaging with me on the forums, mentoring me, and commenting on my posts.  I love it.
