Hey Everyone!

So I searched before I decided to post to make sure not wasting anyone's time. About to kick off my DM campaign this week and have one question I can't figure out. For this first campaign I am ordering the postcards and mailing them out myself. Whether it be mailing to houses we find DfD or the list I am going to obatain, I'd rather send them myself to get a feel for it all. My question is this, I am ordering from Vista print and they have the option to also get exact amount of envelopes and also print return address for a fee. The price all looks good, have to factor in stamps, but wouldn't they defeat the purpose of a postcard? I am just not sure what response rate would be better. Just a flat out postcard or one in an envelope with a hand written address on front? Any advise would be great!

I've had better success mailing postcards in the envelope myself (rainbow color) hand written address.

Also it takes longer for the person to receive a postcard not mailed in an envelope.

(No envelope 10 days)

(With Envelope  2 or 3 days)

Try both see what works best for you.
