Philadelphia deals

Hello,

I live in New York City and will be doing a deal in Philadelphia shortly. I've been told by several investors that an attorney is not required in Philadelphia. Can anyone offer any insight regarding whether an attorney is required? If an attorney is not required, can you offer any reasons for having one anyway?

That being said, we would like to have an attorney review the title report just to be safe, at least for the first deal. Does anyone have a good attorney that they can recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Yusuf Wilson

An attorney is not required for buying and selling real estate in Philly. They're also not required for reviewing the title. You can use a title company and purchase title insurance to guarantee a free and clear title. Let me know if you have specific questions I'll be happy to assist.
