Any real estate specific CPA's in NJ?

Hey BP!!

I'm fairly new to real estate investing and needs a little help setting up my legal entities. Are there any CPA's in NJ who can assist me with this?Also if you're in NJ and have someone in mind please provide their contact info so I can reach out. Any info is helpful.

Great insight Brandon! I probably wasn't clear on what Im looking for, I basically need advice on tax strategies. I would think using a CPA in my area would be best but I am fairly new to all of this and learning as we go. If you can assist and point me in the right direction that would be great!

@Reginald Lawal are you looking for a local CPA? If so, consider joining an REIA group and asking there. You could also explore Facebook groups of real estate investors local to your area.

If it doesn't matter where your CPA is located, browse the BP forums and see who is getting recommended. Many of us have clients around the globe and use technology to collaborate. The only thing we can't do is shake our client's hand.

I will say that a CPA should not be setting up an entity for you unless they are a licensed attorney. Not only do they run the risk of unlicensed practice of law, but they aren't best suited for that type of service. Just the same as I wouldn't want my clients to go to an attorney for something that is clearly a tax matter.
