Is up front agent fees normal
Hi. I am just starting out and am looking for a real estate agent to help on my journey. Do agents normally charge fees to show houses. I have a starting budget but I did not include a fee to see the houses in it. I thought they get paid when they sell a house. it seems like that can really add up and cut deep into my down payment and researves. I'm in baton rouge, louisiana

Hello and welcome to BP @Jessica Kegler No, that's not normal. Agents get paid at the closing table when the deal closes. Where did that idea or question come up?
