Cape Coral Rental Market?

Question

Hi there,

My name is Jamie, just started to hang out in BP recently and found a lot of good information here. We have been invested in the Orlando area for a few years, but the Rent to Value ratio is getting lower and not making sense in this market anymore.

We are looking at Cape Coral market now. Anyone have insight? How is the rental market there? Which area is more investor friendly? Anything I should be aware investing in Cape Coral?

Hello All, new to BP forum as well.  We're interested in Cape Coral/ Ft Myers area for buy and hold.  We're looking to connect and build our core 4 in the area who's worked with out of state investors.  Our long term goal is to retire in FL so we thought we'd get a head start.  We live in northern Colorado and currently have one SFR but the prices in our state has gone up significantly.  Thank you all in advance..
