What is your Return on Equity?

A mentor of mine long ago told me that one of the keys to creating wealth is "The velocity of money" (How quick are you recycling your money?). A simple way to calculate this return is to divide your current yearly cash flow by the amount of equity in your portfolio. My current ROE is .0889 at the moment.
