Hey BP,

I'm currently looking to invest in a condo in the DMV area (DC, Maryland,Virginia) as my primary residence then rent it out 5-7 years from now. What are all the problems/things to think about when choosing if I'd rather start out in a condo or townhome?

If you are looking in DC proper, condos are great. In the suburbs, it varies. I wouldnt touch an Arlington Condo, as those have been flat for 5+ years. Silver Spring Id do a condo though.
