I Craigslist a decent place to look for fixers, REOs, and FSBOs? Or is it just a place where investors try to dump bad deals? Does it vary by region? I am in Los Angeles/Orange County. Anybody with any experience doing either good or bad deals found on Craigslist will be helpful.

I've found some interesting deals on Craigslist (never bought anything though), and I've found some nasty stuff as well. There was one rental I saw where the seller claimed $500 in cash flow on a property that couldn't rent for more then $400/month.

There are unscrupulous people everywhere. It is worth looking at, though.
