Texas Assisted Living

I am an RN here in Texas and the more I have learned about Residential Assisted Living, the more I have become interested in pursuing that area of business and real estate. I know there is obviously money to be made in assisted living, but I also see a sense of pride and fulfillment in providing quality care and space for those who need it.

Hey @Chris Allen, we've been exploring the assisted living space for a few years now, and our interest became a bit more personal when my mother-in-law suffered a massive stroke two years ago. She now requires total care, which we choose to deliver from a private residence with help from a small team of health-care professionals.

We have spent considerable time researching our care options, including nursing facilities, personal care homes and assisted living facilities. We've seen much done horribly wrong and have begun to understand some of the huge challenges in balancing human needs and dignity with profit and efficiency.
