Providing Info to Hard Money Lenders

Canaan Knigge
Posted

Hi everyone,

So this is a total newbie question, but I'm looking to do my first deal and am talking with some hard money lenders. Multiple HMLs have asked me to send my last few tax returns and bank statements. My question is: Is it safe to share this info with them? Or is it unusual for hard money lenders to ask for this info? I appreciate any help from those with more real estate experience than me. Thanks,
