Newbie getting into Real Estate

Jay Mack
Posted

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get into real estate soon, my problem is my wife and I are looking to buy our home this year. She is not really into the house hack idea, so my question is should I buy my personal home first or try to get an investment property first?

@Jay Mack Have you considered a duplex? This would let you get your first rental unit and you would also get the luxury of a primary residence.
