Renting SFR with a pool?

Weighing my options on a home occupied by family who will be moving out this July. Debating on holding and renting or selling. Home has a pool and I’m not at all excited about renting a home with a pool. (Texas)

Any experiences that can be shared?

Any tactics implemented in a lease to be sure pool is cared for?

Owning the home for 7 years I’ve learned the TLC that is needed on pool upkeep.
