Changing jobs prior to investing, looking for input from brokers.

Hello BiggerPocketeers!

I am looking for some guidance.  I am a registered nurse and I am contemplating quitting a job that I have been in for 6.5 years to go into travel nursing to make more money to put towards investing. My plan is to purchase my first investment property between 4-6 months from now. My question is will I have troubles getting mortgages with a short history in a new job?
