VA Loans & FICO Requirements

BP Family,

Does anybody know if there has been any FICO changes for VA loans? Since the FHA requirements from Wells Fargo & Chase were lowered, did the VA follow with it?

Also John If you're a vet you may be eligible for the mortgage credit certificate program that will give you a 20% tax credit on all mortgage interest you pay. As a vet you do not have to be a first time buyer like normal applicants to this program, just show your DD-214 and a lender can order your certificate of eligibility and could qualify.
