Recommendation: Best Loan Servicers?

Question

Hey guys! For those with experience doing note and mortgages, I was hoping someone could recommend a couple/few loan servicers that I can talk to (national, if possible). I have a note in IN that I will be needing serviced.

Honestly, I am currently using a servicer called Mountain States Escrow out of Arizona, and they've been pretty good to me. The problem I've ran into is that a buyer that has been doing auto-deposits monthly has had 3 strikes when it comes to "in-sufficient funds," and at that point MSE requires they be placed on mailing in checks only. Given that that is a pain and complicates things, I'm needing to move this particular file to another servicer... so here we are.I've been recommended Allie Servicing, so I will be speaking to them, and was hoping to get a few other referrals/recommendations. I'll look into Dovenmuehle as well! Thank you :)

Most actual for profit loan servicers aren't' going to deal with mom and pop investors. They service for institutional investors and/or GSE's. A simple search for "Mortgage - Loan - Servicing - Companies" will take you a long way on the start of that endeavor to find one. They are out there but will be prohibitively expensive for a onesy twosy type of investor. I'm sure there are many on this forum that can give some recommendations though.

To your question, Dovenmuehle is a national servicer and subservicer. Specialized Loan Servicing, Mr. Cooper, Shellpoint, Carrington, and the list goes on and on and on.
