Bought House Today With Credit Card

This is a first for me. Settled on a row house today using a cash advance on my credit card. They were running a special. Cash advance interest free for 1 year. 2% fee for the cash advance. Could not pass it up.

Good for you!

I hate when people are say you can't do such things. Like we don't understand debt and can't run the numbers. Creative financing is creative financing. The point is to use other people's money even if it is a credit card. As long as you are smart about it, how is a credit card any different than other types of financing. I know people who bought houses with credit cards back before they started charging cash advance fees. Now it is just a different calculation but if it makes sense, it makes sense.
