Hard Money Lending in Upstate NY

Hey BP,

This is my first time posting as I joined BP only a few weeks ago. I am currently in the process of hunting for my first deal, I recently had my first duplex under contract but ended up backing out after the home inspection. My question is around hard money financing, does anyone recommend any hard money lenders in NY for a buy and hold stratagy? Also, is hard money really something that I should be looking into seeing as I am new to real estate? Does hard money lending get reported to my credit report? Any feedback around hard money loans and helping me understand how hard money lending works would be great.

thanks for all the help!

@Daniel MontesSoft money for buy and hold unless you have an immediate out.  Reach out to @Jerry Padilla.  He's my go to guy for soft/conventional financing.  30yr Am and market interest rates.  Good Luck.  If you have any further questions and if there is anything I can assist you with let me know.  I'm also a realtor in the NYC area.  I have a good title company contact as well.

Cheers
