Money loan from another country

Hello everyone. I have been thinking about doing private financing for my next deal so i can grow faster.

Is anyone here experienced in giving loans or lending money from another country? How would it work with what interest and how long would the downpayment typacly be? And most important , how do i know if the lender is credible?

I am looking to by a complex of 10 or more units.
