Massachusetts Probate Timeframes

Hello BP Community,

I am currently trying to close on a property in the Boston metro area. We signed purchase and sale on the 13th of February, two weeks later I was informed that there were issues with the title. The house is being sold by an estate and it was discovered by the title company that the father did not properly leave the title in his will. I am now being told that we will not be able to close until May 7th, 60 days, which to me seems excessively long. Talking to the lawyer reprenting me she does not seem to think that 60 days is unreasonable or that there is any thing we can do but wait. What actions can I take to expedite this process. I am happy with the property but very frustrated that it's going to take an additional 60 days to close. What actions can I take to expedite this process?

Thank you,

Sam
